Job summary

Allen Integrated Solutions LLC is seeking a Senior Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Engineer to guide MS&A activities in support of NGA mission processes and GEOINT. The role involves leading model development, performance analysis, and technical guidance for complex systems across cloud and on-prem environments.

Qualifications include 12+ years in government or industry modeling of large System of Systems, a STEM degree, and TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain SCI with polygraph.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in modeling large complex System of Systems or SOA environments with cloud, on‑premise, or hybrid.
• TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Guide development and use of complex models, tools and algorithms to identify trends in Big Data.
• Guide modeling NGA architectures, requirements, and systems performance for NGA and NSG vision.
• Guide creation of models to support analysis of alternatives and design trades for deployment in NSG architectures and cloud environments.
• Guide work of mid- and junior-level contractor MS&A.

Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Engineer (Senior-Level)

Location: Springfield, VA

Clearance: Active TS/SCI Required

Overall Assignment Description:

Senior-level Modeling, Simulation and Analysis (MS&A) Engineers guide and conduct modeling, simulation and analysis activities in support of business stakeholders, analysts, and warfighters to define and analyze system and data requirements to support NGA business and mission processes to ensure timely and accurate GEOINT.

Duties may include:

• Guides the development and use of complex models, tools and algorithms to identify trends and patterns in Big Data.
• Guides modeling NGA’s architectures, requirements, and systems performance and considers NGA and NSG strategies and overall vision for the future of GEOINT.
• Guides the creation of models to support analysis of alternatives, performance trades, design trades and new capabilities and develops alternatives for deployment based on MS&A results in existing NSG architectures and cloud environments.
• Guides the work of Mid- and Junior-level contractor MS&A.

Skills and Experience:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, or related STEM degree program, or related equivalent additional experience of 4 years with no degree or 2 years with a non-STEM degree.
• 12+ years of experience working in government or industry modeling large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments residing in cloud, on premise, or hybrid
• Knowledge of tools development and use in cloud
• TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph.
