Job summary

Radiance Technologies is seeking a mid-level software engineer to join our Modeling and Simulation (M&S) development team in the Dayton, OH area. You will evolve the AF SIM framework, integrate new scenarios, and work with a diverse team of engineers and analysts on DoD and IC projects.

You should have a BS or higher in a related field and at least 3 years of experience with C++, C#, Python, or Java, plus familiarity with CI/CD, Agile processes, and V&V testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of software development experience in C++, C#, Python, or Java.
• Experience with source control and CI/CD tools (Git, SVN, Bitbucket, Gitlab, Jenkins).
• Experience with agile development processes.
• Experience with mission-level M&S frameworks (AFSIM, NGTS, ITASE).
• Experience with object-oriented design patterns.
• Experience with V&V testing.
• Experience with IDEs (Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, PyCharm).
• Familiarity with DoD security practices.

We are searching for a talented software engineer to join our Modeling and Simulation (M&S) development team. We are looking for a mid-level developer to work with a diverse team of software engineers and analysts to explore and develop solutions in support of the National Air and Space Intelligence Center and other Department of Defense and Intelligence Community projects. The candidate will be expected to evolve an existing Modeling & Simulation framework (AFSIM) and its codebase based upon customer needs. The candidate will also be expected to incorporate scenarios and models into AFSIM, while performing testing and verification. You will be a member of a dedicated team using Modern Agile software development practices and will have an important role in shaping our team's development strategy. We are focused on finding innovative, self-starters who can adapt to a fast-paced and high-profile development effort.

Required Skills
