Job summary

Radiance Technologies seeks an experienced Software Engineer to join the Modeling and Simulation Development team. You will develop and integrate high-fidelity models into the AFSIM framework, expanding the wsf_python toolkit and other related tools.

Strong C++ and Python 3 skills, Linux experience, and agile/CI‑CD capabilities are required. You will collaborate with data scientists and DoD projects on full‑stack software and network programming.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Minimum of 3 years of M&S development experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of software development experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in C++ and Python 3.
• Experience following Agile development processes.
• Experience with version control (Git, Bitbucket, GitLab) and CI tools (Jenkins, GitLab runners).
• Experience developing software for Linux platforms.

• Experience managing virtual machine and container platforms like WSL2 and Docker.
• Experience using IDEs such as Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, PyCharm, or similar.
• Familiarity with DoD security practices.
