Job summary

Sigmatech Inc is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Analyst/Engineer to analyze, model and simulate operational scenarios and determine effective force options using MBSE and physics-based tools. You will support intelligence decision making and policy development across government and industry contexts.

The role requires experience in modeling, simulation and technology development, with emphasis on testing and integration of advanced capabilities and technologies for current and future programs.

Qualifications

• Modeling and Simulation (e.g. STK or similar software experience).
• Project Management experience.
• Technology development, prototyping, experimentation and testing, including integration exercises.
• Department of War Higher-Headquarters Staffing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop intelligence support information for decision making, policy formulation and related tasks.
• Perform engineering duties and provide improvements to intelligence capabilities, testing equipment and techniques.
• Analyze mission area technologies and deliver Technology Assessment Reports on key technologies.
• Study, assess and recommend innovative technologies for development, testing, transition planning and support.
• Conduct basic and applied research to evaluate material and equipment adaptability to intelligence capability design and manufacture.
• Support long-term capability development activities of programs of record to enhance programs.

Sigmatech is seeking highly motivated candidates with the desire and aptitude to analyze, model and simulate operational scenarios and determine effective intelligence force options utilizing government and industry standard architectures, MBSE and physics-based applications.

In this position the government contractor will formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret intelligence support information that assists management with decision making, policy formulation, and other functions. Additional requirements include:

• Performing engineering duties and providing recommended improvements to intelligence capabilities, testing equipment, and techniques.
• Analyzing mission area technologies and delivering Mission Area Technology Assessment Reports on key technologies.
• Studying, assessing, and recommending innovative technologies for further development, testing and, as necessary, transition planning and support.
• Conducting basic and applied research to evaluate the adaptability of materials and equipment to intelligence capability design and manufacture.
• Supporting longer-term capability mission area-related development activities of programs of record to enhance programs.

Experience and Skills

Applicants must have previous experience in:

Modeling and Simulation (e.g. STK or similar software experience)

Project Management

Technology development, prototyping, experimentation, testing, and Joint Exercise/Wargame integration

Department of War Higher-Headquarters (or equivalent) Staffing

Previous Special Access Program experience preferred

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role $130,000 to $185,000; however, Sigmatech considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, experience, education/training, key skills, location, and often contractual requirement.
