Job summary

Bell Bank seeks a Model Risk Analyst to perform comprehensive assessments, validations, and ongoing monitoring of models across risk management. You will challenge design, evaluate performance, and ensure alignment with the MRM framework and regulatory expectations.

Collaborate with model developers, business owners, and risk stakeholders to maintain documentation, communicate risks and mitigation strategies, and stay current with regulatory changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, finance, economics, statistics, or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in risk management, compliance, data analytics, or risk analytics.
• Experience with banking products, credit processes, liquidity management, and stress testing preferred.
• Proficiency with statistical and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with model developers and business owners to ensure models meet governance and regulatory requirements.
• Lead/participate in ongoing model monitoring and maintenance to stay current with evolving needs.
• Identify and communicate model-related risks, proposing mitigation strategies.
• Maintain up-to-date model documentation and transparency of assumptions, limitations, and use cases.
• Lead validation processes for models across risk management, pricing, liquidity, and stress testing.
