Job description

Salary: $69,550 - $125,725 per year.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 1+ year of experience in systems engineering, software engineering, test engineering, or related area.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Active Secret clearance and ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
• Experience working in a SIL environment.
• Experience with SysML, ideally using Cameo or MagicDraw.
• Strong drive to learn and adopt new technologies.
• Ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal formats, including informal one-on-one and small-group settings.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment and manage multiple priorities at once.

Preferred

• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Familiarity with Agile methods, especially Scrum or Kanban.
• Experience with Atlassian tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
• OCSMP certification for Systems Modeling Professionals.
• Experience with executable SysML simulation and scripting languages.
• Exposure to MBSE approaches such as MagicGrid.
• Understanding of military CONOPS.

Responsibilities

• Use MBSE methods and tools to develop system architectures for new programs and integrate unique capabilities into test or fielded hardware.
• Support the technical team in aligning solution architecture with customer requirements.
• Work with existing tools and models while also creating new models to represent emerging systems.
• Capture, break down, and trace system-level requirements.
• Analyze, define, and refine architectures and interfaces.Develop system structure and behavior models.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders as well as software, test, mechanical, and electrical teams.
• Prepare briefing materials for design reviews and technical exchanges.
