Torch Technologies in Huntsville, AL is seeking a skilled Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to support the Missile and Space Intelligence Center (MSIC). The role emphasizes requirements analysis, architecture design, and system integration using MBSE tools.

A TS clearance is required or obtainable. The engineer will work with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and document complex systems across DoD programs, ensuring traceability and rigorous system verification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Systems Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical/Computer Science)
• 6–10+ years of systems engineering experience
• Familiarity with requirements management, architecture definition, verification and validation
• Experience with SysML modeling and MBSE tools is a plus
• Active Top Secret security clearance (SCI) preferred or obtainable

• Perform requirements analysis, decomposition, and traceability for complex systems.
• Develop and maintain system architectures, designs, and interface control documents.
• Conduct system-level testing, verification, and validation activities.
• Participate in trade studies, risk assessments, and technical reviews.
