Tactical Engineering & Analysis, Inc. is seeking a Model Based Systems Engineer to support the TTWCS program at Dahlgren. You will work on a government-contractor team to build and update system models, influencing development, design, and future Tomahawk system initiatives.
The role emphasizes MBSE design, requirements translation, model verification, and collaboration with senior engineers on challenging, mission‑critical systems.
The Model Based Systems Engineer is responsible for supporting the Department of Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division on the Tomahawk Tactical Weapon Control System (TTWCS). They will play a supporting role in achieving the organization’s goals by working on an existing gov‑contractor team (at least five people, likely more) who are building and updating system models for TTWCS. This position will directly impact development, design, and support for not only TTWCS but also future Tomahawk Weapon System and system‑of‑systems development.
Bachelor of Science in a STEM degree required.
STD 80. Must have the ability to work within company and customer schedule requirements which may vary depending on criticality and necessity of a given task. Ability to work non‑standard work hours and schedules in support of project requirements.
$120,000.00 to $15,000.00 annually, DOE.
U.S. citizenship is required.
Candidates must have an active clearance or the ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance and will be subject to a U.S. security background investigation (e.g., favorable background investigation / credit score). Additional eligibility requirements for access to various levels of classified information may also be required. An active security clearance is highly desirable.
