Tactical Engineering & Analysis, Inc. seeks a Model Based Systems Engineer to support TTWCS development at NSWC Dahlgren Division. You will help build and update system models, translate customer needs into digital representations, and ensure verification through data-driven methods.
You will collaborate with senior engineers, apply MBSE methodologies, and support mission-critical evaluations across current and future Tomahawk Weapon System programs.
The Model Based Systems Engineer is responsible for supporting A-Department of Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division on the Tomahawk Tactical Weapon Control System (TTWCS). They will play a supporting role in achieving the organization’s goals by working on an existing government‑contractor team (at least 5 people, likely more) who are building and updating system models for TTWCS. This position will directly impact development, design, and support for not only TTWCS but future Tomahawk Weapon System development systems of systems.
Three (3) to five (5) years of experience and possess a deep understanding of:
Bachelor of Science in a STEM degree required
STD 80
Must have ability to work within company and customer schedule requirements which may vary depending on criticality and necessity of a given task.
The ability to work non-standard work hours and schedules in support of project requirements.
$120,000.00 to $ $15,000.00 annually, DOE
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Candidates must have an active clearance OR the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance and will be subject to a US security background investigation (i.e. favorable background investigation / credit score). Additional eligibility requirements for access to various levels of classified information may also be required. An active security clearance is highly desirable.
