Job summary

VRTek Consulting Inc. seeks an experienced embedded systems engineer with strong MATLAB/Simulink expertise.

You will design control algorithms and plant models, generate production-ready embedded C/C++ code from models, and perform MIL/SIL/HIL testing to ensure safety and performance. The role requires familiarity with ISO 26262 and DO-178C standards, enabling compliant development for automotive or aerospace projects.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in MATLAB/Simulink, Model-Based Design, and Autocode Generation (mandatory).
• Experience with MIL/SIL/HIL testing to validate system safety and performance.
• Knowledge of industry safety standards such as ISO 26262 for automotive or DO-178C for aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Algorithm & System Modeling: Design control algorithms and dynamic plant models using MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow.
• Automatic Code Generation: Produce production-ready embedded C/C++ code from models using Embedded Coder or TargetLink.
• Verification & Validation: Conduct MIL, SIL, and HIL testing to validate safety and performance.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure designs meet ISO 26262 or DO-178C standards.
