Marathon Electric – Motors and Generators is seeking a Modification Center Lead to oversee daily production activities, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate with multiple teams to meet delivery goals. The role requires strong technical aptitude and safety compliance in a warehouse environment.
The candidate should have 2–5 years in production, a high school diploma or GED, and experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred). Associates degree is a plus.
The Modification Center Lead is responsible for coordinating the daily activities of the Modification Center’s production areas. The successful candidate will be results focused with a high level of technical aptitude and the ability to coordinate with multiple parties to achieve results. This position also requires a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to foster a culture that embraces change. You must have the ability to problem-solving skills, comply with all relevant safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
This position is done in a Warehouse environment typically indoors but may require access to outdoors for work at times. This position requires the ability to drive a forklift: Reach Truck, Order Picker and/or Turret Truck. The position requires a person to be able to frequently walk, stand, bend and twist; see, hear and talk; use fingers and hands, handle or feel controls or product; use hands and arms to reach, hold and carry product. Frequently lifting/moving up to 35 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs. is required. This position also requires a person to handle different temperatures as the Warehouse is hot in the summer and cooler in the winter.
