Job summary

Qualifications

• Adapt state curricula and design lessons to cognitive levels.
• Write and lead IEPs, monitor goals and compliance.
• Develop FBAs and BIPs for student support.
• Collaborate with Speech/OT/Social Work teams and families.
• Supervise paraprofessionals and instructional aides.

Responsibilities

• Instructional planning with adapted curricula focusing on ADLs and self-care.
• IEP management, progress-monitoring, and compliance with guidelines.
• Behavior and classroom management through FBAs and BIPs.
• Collaborate with ancillary staff and maintain parent communication.
• Supervise day-to-day work of aides in the classroom.
