Job summary

MobilityWorks is seeking an automotive technician to perform diagnostics, electrical wiring installation, and comprehensive vehicle inspections to restore accessibility and mobility. You will diagnose and repair complex electrical and mechanical issues, interpret schematics, and ensure safety and quality in every service task.

In this role, you will work Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with competitive pay and benefits as part of a team dedicated to helping people regain independence

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• General experience in automotive maintenance.
• Strong background in electrical and/or automotive wiring.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and testing.
• Install and connect electrical wiring systems.
• Conduct functional tests on electrical systems.
• Identify and rectify issues discovered.
• Install electrical panels and components per engineering specs.
• Ensure work quality through inspections.
• Interpret schematics.
• Assess vehicle damage or malfunctions; provide repair recommendations, parts lists, and repair times.
• Carry out under-car and under-hood inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot issues related to the work performed.
