Job summary

Mobility Works is seeking a skilled automotive maintenance technician to diagnose complex vehicle issues, inspect and test systems, and perform road tests. You will install electrical wiring, panels, and components, while ensuring quality through thorough inspections and accurate repair estimates.

The role emphasizes strong electrical knowledge, mechanical problem-solving, and teamwork in a collaborative shop environment with standard daytime hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in automotive maintenance is preferred.
• Familiarity with brake and steering systems is useful.
• Strong background in electrical and/or automotive wiring.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in electronic troubleshooting and repair.
• Excellent mechanical problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and test vehicles to identify issues.
• Install and connect electrical wiring systems.
• Conduct functional tests on electrical systems.
• Identify and rectify problems discovered.
• Install electrical panels and components per specs.
• Ensure work quality through thorough inspections.
