Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Mobility Technician to assist with patient mobility in a busy acute care setting in New Jersey. You will work with rehab, nursing, and therapy teams to improve mobility, safety, and discharge readiness.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math and communication skills, and proficiency in Office tools and EPIC. Experience in health care or CNA programs is preferred; comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; basic math and literacy skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Suite and EPIC systems.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with physical therapy, nursing, and other health professionals to support patient mobility.
Provide safe, age-appropriate patient care and educate families on mobility techniques.
Assist in transfers, ambulation, and group exercise sessions; ensure safe body mechanics.
Monitor vital signs and document findings; notify RN of abnormalities.
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow OSHA standards.
