Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Mobility Technician to join our Nursing Support team. This full-time role focuses on safe patient repositioning, ambulation, and transfers, using lifts, slide sheets, and transfer boards. You will support fall prevention and early mobility while documenting activities per hospital policy.

The position requires an HSD/GED, BCLS, and preferably an Associate's Degree, with opportunities to grow within a leading regional health system.

Formación

• HSD/GED required.
• Associate's Degree preferred.
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) required.
• Full-Time Days position; 40 hours per week.

Responsabilidades

• Assist clinical staff in safe repositioning, ambulation and transfers.
• Utilize patient handling equipment such as lifts, slide sheets, and transfer boards.
• Respond to mobility requests from nursing and rehabilitation departments.
• Support fall prevention strategies and early mobility protocols.
• Document patient mobility activities per hospital policies.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and report malfunctions or safety concerns.

Mobility Technician Job Responsibilities
