Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Mobility Field Service Representative at Camp Pendleton, CA to support 1st and 2nd echelon maintenance and training on Tactical Vehicle Platforms for NSWC Crane tasking portfolio. Travel up to 50% required.

Responsibilities include identifying faulty components, conducting functional tests, reviewing technical docs, and supporting systems from engine to electronics, with adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and a minimum of three years of relevant experience, or a High School Diploma and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in integration, installation, repair, and preventative maintenance efforts for Military wheeled vehicles.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance; Interim Secret needed to start. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Available for a flexible work schedule, including extended or weekend hours, sometimes on short notice, to include holidays as needed.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to provide classroom and physical practical exercise instruction for FLMNET for LTV platforms.
• Formally trained mechanic through Military or formal Post secondary education.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DD OF346.

Responsibilities

• Identify and replace components and conduct functional tests to return articles to service; document maintenance and inspection actions; review technical documentation to identify planned maintenance action requirements.
• Support all vehicle systems including communication, engine repair, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, electronic systems, and HVAC.
