Job summary

Econolite Group is seeking a Mobility Engineer in Miami, FL. This full-time role involves being the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for EOS firmware and Model 2070LX controllers, providing onsite support at the Miami-Dade Traffic Management Center. Candidates must have 7+ years in the ITS sector and appropriate certifications.

The position requires extensive technical knowledge, collaboration with project teams, and the ability to resolve complex operational issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in ITS, traffic signal systems, or traffic controller environments.
• Proven experience deploying, configuring, and supporting traffic signal controller systems.
• Strong understanding of traffic signal timing, coordination, phasing, detection, communications, and networking.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for EOS firmware and Model 2070LX controllers.
• Provide full-time onsite technical support at the Miami-Dade Traffic Management Center (TMC).
• Support deployment, configuration, integration, and validation of controllers.

Skills

Advanced knowledge of EOS firmware and Model 2070LX controllers

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong understanding of traffic signal timing, coordination, phasing, detection

Education

IMSA Level III Certification

Minimum 7 years of experience in ITS or traffic signal systems
