Job summary

Legacy Health Services in Parma, Ohio seeks a Wound Care Nurse to provide primary skin care to residents under medical direction, focusing on treatment and therapy of skin disorders. The ideal candidate holds a nursing degree and has clinical experience as an LPN or RN, including wound care and knowledge of infection prevention. You will work with physicians and the nursing leadership to support residents’ comfort and recovery in a fast-paced post-acute setting.

Qualifications

• Must have a nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as LPN or RN in a hospital, long-term care facility, or related healthcare setting.
• Working knowledge of epidemiology, microbiology, and aseptic technique with universal precautions.
• Wound care certification preferred.
• At least one year experience in wound care.
