Job summary

West Coast Wound & Skin Care is seeking licensed Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join a fast-growing mobile wound care team delivering high-quality care in patients' homes and in SNFs. You will travel locally within Charleston, SC to see patients, perform wound care procedures, document diagnoses, and educate patients on their treatment plans.

The role includes extensive training and 24/7 support.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an NP or PA
• CPR Certified
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Must have a valid driver’s license and minimum state required liability auto insurance; local travel is required

Responsibilities

• Select, order, and perform tests and procedures to best treat the patient
• Perform wound care procedures as deemed necessary and appropriate for plan of care
• Define and document patient diagnoses
• Assure all patients are completely satisfied
• Patient education and management
• Debridement of wounds by various methods completed safely during the patient visit
• Application of topical wound care and other wound management products
• Notate findings and treatment course in patient chart, including follow-up notes
