Job summary

West Coast Wound & Skin Care is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform mobile wound care in patients' homes and SNFs around Charleston, SC. You will travel locally within your designated region to see patients in their homes or SNFs.

Extensive training is provided; must be licensed in SC as NP or PA and willing to drive to patient locations. This is a full-time/part-time/contract role with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Current SC NP or PA license.
• CPR certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
• No prior wound care experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Select, order and perform tests and procedures to best treat the patient.
• Perform wound care procedures as deemed necessary and appropriate for plan of care.
• Define and document patient diagnoses.
• Ensure all patients are completely satisfied.
• Patient education and management.
• Debridement of wounds by various methods completed safely during the patient visit.
• Application of topical wound care and other wound management products.
• Notate findings and treatment course in patient chart, including follow-up notes.

We have high and excellent standards for communication with the agencies we work with, are available and responsive to meet the treatment needs of our patients, and prioritize training/continuing education to our medical team.

We are seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to perform mobile advanced wound care services for our patients. You will travel locally within your designated region to see our patients in their homes or SNFs.

This position is looking for candidates living in Charleston, SC and be willing to drive to see patients in this area in their homes. The territory for this role will service patients in throughout Charleston area.

Must be licensed as an NP or PA in SC.

This is not a remote position. Must be willing and able to drive to patient homes to provide wound care.

No experience is needed. We provide extensive training, 24/5 support, offer competitive compensation.
