Job summary

The State of Maryland seeks a dedicated coordinator for the Somerset County Mobile Wellness Program. This role will manage activities, schedule events, and build community partnerships to raise awareness of mobile wellness initiatives.

Responsibilities include driving and maintaining the wellness van, training staff on equipment, and leading the Mobile Wellness Committee which meets monthly. This position is essential and requires a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
• Experience: Six months of administrative staff, clerical, or secretarial work.
• 30 credit hours from an accredited college/university may substitute for the required experience.
• Military service as a non-commissioned officer involving staff work may substitute for the required experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all activities for the Somerset County Mobile Wellness Program.
• Create and maintain a schedule for Mobile Wellness Program activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with community partners to increase awareness.
• Drive the wellness van to events and set up equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance of the van and equipment.
• Maintain SOPs and train staff on van equipment.
• Promote the program via flyers and social media.
