Job summary

Lap of Love, a mobile veterinary hospice, is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to serve Jersey Shore, NJ including Toms River, Brick, Freehold and surrounding towns. You’ll deliver compassionate hospice and euthanasia care directly in clients' homes.

This role offers flexible 2–5 day per week schedules, with 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, and strong onboarding and mentorship. Compensation includes base salaries for 4-day and 5-day schedules, plus bonuses and company support.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS required; valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Background and motor vehicle record check before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
• Support families through difficult moments with empathy and professionalism.
• Collaborate with Lap of Love mentors while practicing independently.
