Job summary

Lap of Love is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia services in Central New Jersey and surrounding areas, including Edison. As a mobile veterinarian, you’ll balance professional fulfillment with personal freedom and maintain strong family-centered care.

Join a growing network of 400+ veterinarians and support staff with onboarding, mentorship, and a 24/7/365 support center.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) degree is required.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Candidates will undergo a background and motor vehicle record check.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in their homes.
• Maintain clear communication with families and veterinarians.
• Complete medical records and documentation transfer as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and lifting guidelines during in-home visits.
