Job summary

Clean Harbors Weymouth, MA is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Mechanic to perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on the company fleet across the region. The role emphasizes safety and efficiency at branch locations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• 1+ years prior experience working on heavy duty trucks and equipment.
• 1+ years DOT inspection experience required.
• Must be able to provide own basic tools.
• Willingness to travel within assigned territory up to 70%.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime as required.
• Ability to pass a background, drug, and physical test upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring Health and Safety is the number one priority by following safe work practices and policies.
• Correct all equipment deficiencies and perform preventative maintenance on company equipment.
• Inspect equipment to identify unsatisfactory condition.
• Full compliance with mandatory PPE requirements during all work activities.
• Travel to other locations to perform repairs and maintenance as required.
• Complete and submit paperwork for PM schedules.
• Maintain active light duty or DQ driver status as per mobile vehicle type.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
