Job summary

Clean Harbors in Eagan, MN is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Mechanic to maintain and repair the company fleet across branch locations in the region. You will perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs with a safety-first mindset.

The role requires 1+ years of heavy-duty truck experience, DOT inspection experience, and the ability to travel up to 70% of the time. Weekend and night shifts may be required, and you must pass background checks and drug tests.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• 1+ years prior experience working on heavy duty-trucks and equipment.
• 1+ years DOT inspection experience required.
• Must be able to provide own basic tools.
• Willingness to travel within assigned territory up to 70%.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime as required.
• Ability to pass a background, drug, and physical test upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
• Correct all equipment deficiencies and perform preventative maintenance on company owned equipment as directed by management.
• Thorough inspection of equipment to identify unsatisfactory condition.
• Full compliance with mandatory PPE requirements during all work-related activities.
• Travel to other locations to perform repairs and maintenance on equipment as required.
• Completes and submits all paperwork for PM schedules.
• Maintain active light duty or DQ driver status as per mobile vehicle type.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Pay Range: 15.63 - 41.54 Hourly
