Job summary

Cox Automotive’s Manheim Mobile Inspection team seeks an entry- to senior-level Mobile Inspector to conduct on-site vehicle condition inspections for dealer clients. Roles scale from Level 1 to Senior, with progression based on experience and performance.

Responsibilities include thorough inspections, accurate documentation, and engaging dealer clients to grow participation in mobile services. A strong safety mindset and drivers license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 0–1 years of automotive-related experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record required
• Ability to meet physical and mental demands of the role within required timeframes

Responsibilities

• Conduct basic to advanced vehicle inspections in accordance with Manheim inspection standards.
• Locate, start, move, inspect, and return vehicles safely on dealer client lots.
• Verify vehicle identification, VINs, mileage, sub-series, and options; ensure accurate system entry.
• Inspect and document exterior and interior conditions and mechanical components.
• Prepare and submit daily activity and production reports; use Salesforce.com for reporting.
