Job summary

Cox Automotive USA is seeking a Mobile Inspector to perform on-site vehicle inspections for dealer clients within an assigned territory. You will document vehicle condition against Manheim standards and build strong dealer relationships to grow participation in mobile inspections.

The role requires independent work, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing schedules while following safety and quality guidelines. The position offers an hourly base pay with incentive opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus automotive exposure.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• 0–1 years automotive-related experience for Level 1; more for Level 2/Senior.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections on dealer lots per Manheim standards.
• Document vehicle condition accurately in inspection systems.
• Ensure safe vehicle movement and data entry on inspections.
• Engage with dealer clients to explain inspection value and drive participation.
• Prepare daily activity and production reports; use Salesforce for tracking.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and teamwork within the inspection team.
