Job summary

Cox Automotive is hiring Manheim Mobile Vehicle Condition Inspectors to perform on-site vehicle inspections for dealer clients across a defined territory. You will document vehicle condition accurately and in a timely manner, supporting trust and transparency in the marketplace.

Roles include Level 1, Level 2, and Senior, with hourly pay ranges and incentives. A valid driver’s license and basic automotive knowledge are required; some roles allow remote work within the specified region.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimal automotive knowledge preferred (body and mechanical).
• 0-1 years of automotive-related experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct basic to advanced vehicle inspections and document condition.
• Locate, start, move, inspect, and return vehicles on dealer lots.
• Verify VINs, mileage, options, and entry data in systems.
• Document exterior/interior condition and mechanical components.
• Build relationships with dealer clients and educate them on mobile inspection services.
• Prepare daily activity and production reports using Salesforce.com.
