Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Mobile Inspector to perform on-site vehicle condition inspections for dealer clients within an assigned territory, with a flexible remote option for residents in Aurora or Naperville, IL. The role requires documenting inspection findings, ensuring accuracy, and supporting client trust and inventory flow.

Positions include Level 1, Level 2, and Senior level, with hourly pay ranges and monthly incentives based on inspection volume; travel is 100% within the region, and

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED; 0–1 years of automotive‑related experience preferred (Level 1).
• Right to drive with a valid license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct basic to advanced vehicle inspections per Manheim standards.
• Document vehicle condition accurately in inspection systems.
• Develop dealer relationships and educate clients on mobile inspection services.
• Coordinate with teams to maximize inspection volume and territory coverage.
• Adhere to safety and compliance standards and contribute to continuous improvement.
