Job summary

Manheim is seeking Mobile Vehicle Inspectors at multiple levels to perform on-site vehicle condition inspections for dealer clients within an assigned territory. The role includes documentation to Manheim standards, client engagement, and collaboration with Manheim teams to support client success.

Levels range from entry to senior, with pay scales per hour and incentives based on inspection volume. A valid driver's license and ability to work in a dynamic field environment are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 0–1 years automotive-related experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
• Ability to meet physical and mental demands of the role within required timeframes
• 1–2 years automotive experience for Level 2
• 2–3 years automotive experience for Senior Level

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and document conditions in inspection systems
• Inspect and document vehicle exterior, interior, and mechanical components
• Verify VINs, mileage, options, and entry data accurately
• Build relationships with dealer clients and educate them on Manheim mobile inspection services
• Coordinate inspections across dealer locations and manage schedules
• Prepare daily activity and production reports and utilize Salesforce for reporting
• Participate in Safety Excellence initiatives and comply with inspection standards
