Job summary

Manheim Mobile Inspections within Cox Automotive is hiring Mobile Inspectors at multiple levels (Level 1, Level 2, Senior). The role conducts on-site vehicle condition inspections for dealer clients across an assigned territory and documents condition to Manheim standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimal automotive knowledge preferred (body and mechanical)
• 0-1 years of automotive-related experience preferred
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record required
• Ability to meet physical and mental demands of the role within required timeframes

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections in accordance with Manheim inspection standards
• Verify VINs, mileage, sub-series, and options and ensure accurate system entry
• Document exterior/interior condition, tires, frame, and mechanical components
• Perform basic mechanical checks across powertrain, drivetrain, and electrical components
• Identify and document damage, missing components, or inoperable features
• Build trust with dealer clients and educate on Manheim marketplace and mobile services
• Prepare and submit daily activity and production reports
• Use Salesforce.com for reporting, lead management, and performance tracking
• Collaborate with peers and Manheim teams to support client success
• Maintain safety and compliance with inspection standards
