Job summary

BioTech X-ray is seeking a Sonographer (Mobile/Portable) to perform portable diagnostic ultrasound and vascular imaging across the assigned territory. The role involves traveling to healthcare facilities and patient residences, with independent work while maintaining communication with dispatch and supervisors.

The position requires ARDMS certification, RVT/Abdominal credentials where required, and state licensure.

Qualifications

• Current ARDMS certification or equivalent.
• Current Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) and Abdominal certification.
• Current state licensure where required.
• Experience performing vascular ultrasound examinations.
• Experience with portable ultrasound imaging.

Responsibilities

• Perform portable diagnostic ultrasound and Doppler examinations as assigned in accordance with physician orders and company protocols.
• Travel to multiple healthcare facilities, nursing homes, and patient residences throughout the workday.
• Upload ultrasound images into PACS promptly following exam completion.
• Communicate with interpreting physicians as needed to facilitate timely interpretation and reporting.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and records of services performed.
• Provide exceptional customer service and professional interactions with clients.
