Qualifications

• Requires CDL Class A and a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years of diesel/heavy equipment mechanic experience.
• Experience diagnosing hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems.
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and diagnostic data.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Travel to jobsites to perform maintenance and repairs on utility fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, braking, cooling, and driveline systems.
• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and safety checks on fleet assets.
• Maintain and repair digger derricks, bucket trucks, trailers, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and PTO systems on utility equipment.
• Provide timely repair status updates to Fleet Manager.
• Complete service reports and maintain inventory and tools.
