Job summary

Broadcast Management Group in Washington, DC or Toronto, ON seeks a Mobile Unit Sales and Operations Manager to lead sales and day-to-day mobile production unit operations across North America.

You will develop budgets with clients, assign units, manage scheduling, logistics, and REMI workflows, and ensure on-site execution to BMG standards.

This full-time, in-office role requires 10+ years in mobile broadcast production and strong client-facing and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of mobile broadcast production experience with budgeting
• Strong REMI workflow knowledge
• Deep understanding of mobile unit engineering and multi-camera systems
• Proven track record building show/event budgets and delivering gross profit
• Experience scheduling, logistics, maintenance, and crewing for mobile units
• Established North America freelance crew/vendor network
• Strong client-facing skills and long-term relationship building
• Calm, decisive, solution-focused under live broadcast pressure
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
• Willingness to travel across US/Canada as schedules require

Responsibilities

• Develop mobile unit production budgets with customers.
• Assign best mobile unit to projects based on requirements.
• Prepare quotes and proposals for mobile unit and REMI services.
• Support the sales and marketing teams in expanding the mobile unit client base and engagements.
• Track competitor mobile unit services, rates, and practices for improvement.
• Develop client targets and collaborate on sales plans.
• Develop annual mobile unit revenue and cost forecasts with Accounting.
