Job summary

Broadcast Management Group, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Unit Sales and Operations Manager in Washington, DC or Toronto, ON. This full-time, in-office role leads sales budgets, unit assignment, and REMI productions for live multi-camera projects across the U.S. and Canada.

You will manage the full mobile unit lifecycle from client consultation and budgeting to scheduling, logistics, crewing, and on-site execution, ensuring high-quality production standards and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of mobile broadcast production experience
  • Strong knowledge of REMI production workflows and supporting technology
  • Deep understanding of mobile unit engineering and multi-camera production systems
  • Proven track record building show/event budgets and delivering gross profit targets
  • Experience managing mobile unit scheduling, logistics, maintenance, and crewing
  • Established network of freelance production crew and vendors across North America
  • Strong client-facing skills with a history of long-term client relationships
  • Willingness to travel across the United States and Canada as schedules require

Responsibilities

  • Sales & Budgeting: develop mobile unit production budgets with customers and sales team
  • Assign the best mobile unit to each project based on requirements, specs, schedule and budget
  • Prepare quotes and proposals for mobile unit and REMI services
  • Support sales and marketing in expanding the client base
  • Track competitor services and costs to improve BMG's offering
  • Develop client targets and collaborate on sales plans
  • Forecast annual mobile unit revenue and costs with accounting
  • Mobile Unit Operations: manage scheduling, routing, and logistics
  • Oversee maintenance, engineering upgrades, and on-site readiness
  • Coordinate crewing with staff engineers and freelance crew network
  • Manage REMI production workflows connecting on-site units with remote control rooms
  • Build production books and workflows for each project
  • Clients & Service: be the primary client contact throughout the lifecycle
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and positive relationships with vendors and freelancers
  • Keep EVP of Production informed of issues
  • Travel across North America to sites and client engagements
