Job summary

Broadcast Management Group, Inc. seeks a Broadcast Design Engineer to support coast-to-coast operations. The role reports to the SVP of Technology and will design systems, maintain equipment, and assist with integration projects and REMI deployments.

You will create equipment lists, synoptic diagrams and rack elevations, and work on remote productions as needed. The candidate must thrive independently and be willing to travel for project-based work.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of broadcast systems design experience.
• Knowledge of live and REMI production environments.
• Understanding of system integration techniques, project schedules, and budgets.
• Strong knowledge of IP Video, Dante and REMI systems.
• AutoCAD Certified or equivalent software.

Responsibilities

• Manage integration projects of varying scale.
• Create equipment lists, synoptic drawings, and rack elevations.
• Create, read, understand and develop broadcast engineering AutoCAD design drawings.
• Able to terminate video, audio, control and network cables.
• Interface with clients and installation teams.
• Assist with planned system upgrades and expansion of projects.
• Travel for project-based assignments as needed.
