Job summary

Avera is seeking a PRN driver/receptionist to support the mobile unit across South Dakota, Minnesota, and Iowa. Responsibilities include patient registration, directing workflow, and safely operating the vehicle during variable shifts that may start as early as 6am or end as late as 10pm, with occasional weekend travel.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, a CDL upon hire, and strong communication with a focus on CARE and safety.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• CDL licensing required upon hire.
• Ability to communicate effectively, hear and distinguish speech, with visual acuity adequate for duties.

Responsibilities

• Drive and set up the mobile unit at the site of operation.
• Serve as patient receptionist, registering patients and guiding workflow.
• Operate vehicle safely and ensure it is locked after parking at shift end.
• Report maintenance needs to QC Coordinator and participate in scheduling.
• Determine supplies needed and communicate instructions to staff.
• Assist with loading, driving to sites, and set up; perform applicable exams and documentation.
• Complete daily shutdown activities per duty list.
