Job summary

LaSante Health Center in New York is seeking a Driver to support our healthcare professional and operate the Mobile Unit with care. You will provide professional assistance with clinical duties and ensure safe, timely transport of the mobile unit.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, accurate vital signs recording, and collaboration with providers to prepare patients for exams; EHR experience (eClinicalWorks preferred) is a plus. Driving a mobile unit requires teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with EHR system (eClinicalWorks preferred).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Medical assisting experience preferred.
• Truck/Minibus driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsibly operate and transport the Mobile Unit vehicle.
• Pick up and drop off the Mobile Unit in a timely fashion.
• Record vital signs, reporting observations to doctor.
• Prepare patients for physician exams, assisting practitioners as needed.
• Manage inventory and ensure stock availability.
• Maintain room setups and cleanliness.
• Assist providers in completing documents.
• Perform additional tasks directed by supervisor.

Salary: $25/hour+ based on experience

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a compassionate and proactive approach towards patient care, as well as safe and timely transport of the mobile unit.
