Job summary

Guthrie in Sayre, PA seeks a non-CDL Driver for the Mobile Unit to travel to NY and PA sites, set up at host locations, and operate the mobile unit safely. You will exit the vehicle during treatments and maintain logs and checklists.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid license with a clean record, and flexibility to travel. Daily vehicle inspections and light lifting of equipment are required.

Summary

Driver-Mobile Unit - Non CDL

This position will start in Sayre, PA and commute to various NY and PA locations based on pre-determined schedule. The driver must exit the vehicle while treatments take place.

Experience

Proven experience in driving and operating vehicles, preferably mobile units or large vans.

Skills

Essential Functions

• Transportation and Setup:
  • 1. Drive the mobile OB/GYN unit to designated locations in NY and PA.
  • 2. Set up and break down the mobile unit at each host site in a timely and efficient manner.
  • 3. Transport the mobile unit between parking areas and campus buildings as needed.
• Vehicle Maintenance and Safety:
  • 1. Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure safe operating conditions.
  • 2. Maintain accurate logs of vehicle usage, inspections, and any maintenance performed.
  • 3. Schedule and oversee necessary maintenance such as oil changes, waste removal, tire checks, and other routine upkeep.
  • 4. Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations, ensuring the vehicle operates within all state and local compliance standards.
• Cleaning and Maintenance:
  • 1. Clean and sanitize the mobile unit at the end of each week to ensure it is prepared for upcoming service.
  • 2. Ensure the mobile unit is in a safe, functional, and presentable condition at all times.
• Administrative Duties:
  • 1. Maintain checklists and maintenance logs for the mobile unit.
  • 2. Document any issues or concerns that may arise during operations.

Other Duties

• Attend mandatory monthly department meetings to stay informed about operational updates and team requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of the mobile unit operations.

The pay range for this position is $17.00-$22.82/hr. based on experience.
