Job summary

TRU LAND Equipment in Indiana is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to perform on-site diagnostics, repair, and maintenance on Turf equipment, supporting our turf service programs. You will collaborate with the Location Service Manager, Service Writer, and peers to deliver timely, quality service.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to read Technical Manuals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred.
• 1+ years’ experience performing service repairs.
• Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to perform basic repairs using tools per Technical Manual.
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic turf equipment.
• Proficient knowledge of selling techniques.
• Experience with Service Advisor and MS Office.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL and forklift license preferred.
• Driving record meets employer’s insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform high level on-site service on Turf equipment.
• Promote and sell dealership mobile service programs to customers.
• Coordinate with Location Service Manager to implement service processes.
• Explain maintenance and repair concerns to customers and document on work orders.
• Establish stocking processes with Parts to maintain seasonal inventory.
• Participate in service training and keep knowledge up to date.
• Operate and maintain mobile service vehicle, trailer, and equipment.
• Follow safety rules and complete required reports.
• Account for time and materials used; support Ready-To-Mow program.
