Job summary

Martin Transportation Systems is seeking a Mobile Truck Mechanic in St. Louis. A stable automotive niche carrier, the company features a brand-new service truck and offers pay up to $45.00 per hour based on experience.

The role includes working 1st or 2nd shifts, full-time status, and a focus on diagnosing and repairing Class 8 trucks and trailers. Experience as a diesel mechanic is required, with emphasis on fuel systems, diagnostics, and general maintenance on Volvo and Freightliner tractors

Qualifications

• Experience using Class 8 Diagnostic Tools.
• Some experience as a Diesel Mechanic repairing trucks and/or trailers.
• Be able to diagnose, repair and perform general maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Be able to perform general maintenance on our recent model fleet of Volvo and Freightliner Tractors.
• Be able to perform general maintenance on our recent model fleet of trailers.
• Trailer repairs, services, and welding.
• Light computer work will also be required.

Brand New Service Truck Provided.

Up to $45.00/hour, based on experience.

Job Type:

• Full-time
• Shift: 1st or 2nd
• Location: St. Louis

Required experience:

• Mechanic: 1 year
• Diesel Mechanic: 1 year

• Experience using Class 8 Diagnostic Tools
• Some experience as a Diesel Mechanic repairing trucks and/or trailers
• Be able to diagnose, repair and perform general maintenance
• Be able to perform general maintenance on our recent model fleet of Volvo and Freightliner Tractors
• Be able to perform general maintenance on our recent model fleet of trailers
• Trailer repairs, services, and welding
• Light computer work will also be required
• Must have your own basic tools
• Willing to work outside in the elements at our various lots.
• Pay based on experience
• Willing to train the right person
