Job summary

The United States Army Reserve is seeking a Motor Transport Operator to supervise and operate wheel vehicles to move personnel and cargo across varied terrain. You will be part of the backbone of Army mobility, ensuring safe loading, convoy movement, and vehicle readiness.

Qualifications

• Be between the ages of 17–40.
• Be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Submit to background and medical screening.
• Receive a passing score on the ASVAB.

Responsibilities

• Operate all-wheel vehicles and equipment over varied terrain and roadways.
• Manage load, unload, and safety of personnel being transported.
• Oversee and check proper loading and unloading of cargo on vehicles and trailers.
• Employ convoy defense techniques.
• Identify, correct, or report all vehicle deficiencies.
• Prepare vehicles for movement/shipment by air, rail, or vessel.
