Job summary

TEN Leasing is seeking a Mobile Semi-Trailer Technician/Service Mechanic to travel to customer sites, perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of trailer systems. The role offers steady hours, competitive pay, and opportunities for advancement within a North American transportation network.

You’ll work independently in the field, handling on-site repairs, preventive maintenance, and DOT inspections while representing a respected industry leader.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Trailer Technician, Trailer Mechanic, Mobile Mechanic, or Fleet Maintenance Technician.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with welding, brake systems, suspension, and electrical repair.

Responsibilities

• Respond to mobile service calls and complete on-site trailer repairs
• Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot trailer issues
• Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections
• Repair and replace trailer components including: Brake systems, Suspension systems, Electrical wiring and lighting, Floors, doors, frames, and structural components, Troubleshooting and repairing liftgate issues
• Perform welding and fabrication work as required
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation
• Manage inventory and parts on service vehicle
• Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
