Job summary

TEN (Transportation Equipment Network) seeks a Mobile Semi-Trailer Technician/Service Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, maintain and repair trailers at customer sites. The role emphasizes independent field service, safety, and high-quality workmanship across a range of trailer systems.

Qualifications

Experience as a Trailer Technician, Trailer Mechanic, Mobile Mechanic, or Fleet Maintenance Technician.
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with welding, brake systems, suspension, and electrical repair.
Ability to work independently in a mobile service environment.
High attention to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Respond to mobile service calls and complete on-site trailer repairs.
Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot trailer issues.
Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
Repair and replace trailer components including brake, suspension, electrical systems, and doors.
Weld and fabricate as required and document work orders.
Manage inventory and parts on the service vehicle.
Ensure safety and compliance standards are met.
Maintain a clean, organized mobile workspace.
