Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services is seeking experienced technicians for on-site mobile trailer maintenance and repairs. You will perform inspections, diagnose systems, and execute repairs at customer locations, ensuring safety and compliance with DOT requirements.

Required are 3+ years in tractor-trailer repair, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work extended hours. Benefits include health plans, 401(k), and paid time off. Join a locally run, family-oriented team serving our community.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of tractor trailer repair experience.
• Strong communication skills and reliability.
• Willingness to work extended and irregular hours, including weekends/holidays.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Self-motivated with good organization and planning.
• Ability to use a computer/tablet to process work orders, log labor hours, and update records.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stoop, or crawl; stand for long periods (1–2 hours).
• Experience with annual federal and brake inspections is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and performing repairs and inspections on trailers.
• Handle brake systems, diagnostics, electrical systems, tires, lift gates and related components.
• Repair damage and welding for major jobs.
• Repair or replace trailer parts such as flooring, rails, landing gear and lift gates.
• Schedule and oversee maintenance procedures, including DOT inspections.
• Open and close repair orders on a company-issued device.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on service vehicles or trailers.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and other documentation in a timely fashion.
