Job summary

Qualifications

About the Role:

The Mobile Trailer Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the operational reliability and safety of trailers used across various industries. This position involves performing on-site diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of trailer types, often in diverse and challenging environments throughout the United States. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime and maximize fleet efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a trailer technician or in a similar mechanical repair role.
  • Strong knowledge of trailer systems including brakes, electrical wiring, and hydraulics.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment safely and effectively.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification from a recognized technical or vocational school in trailer or heavy equipment repair.
