White Stone Fleet Service is seeking a Mobile Diesel/Trailer Technician with 3+ years of hands-on experience to diagnose, repair, and maintain Class 7 and 8 trucks and trailers. You will perform DOT inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards while maintaining accurate service records.

The role requires strong diagnostic abilities and computer literacy, with the capacity to work unsupervised and collaborate with a team to meet service deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience in diesel/trailer repair.
• Experience with Class 7 and 8 trucks and trailers.
• Ability to perform DOT and preventive maintenance inspections.
• Strong diagnostic and computer literacy skills.
• Capable of working unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in diesel engines and related systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Class 7 and 8 trucks and trailers, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Estimate and perform trailer mechanical and body repair.
• Perform DOT and Preventive Maintenance inspections to include proper completion of associated paperwork.
• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently as needed for repairs or maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on each vehicle.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in diesel and trailer technologies.
• Capable of working unsupervised.

This role requires 3+ years hands-on experience and the ability to work with various types of Class 7 and 8 trucks and trailers. The Diesel/trailerTechnician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all vehicles are operating at peak performance and DOT standards. • Estimate and perform Heavy trailer body repair, side rails, posts, roofs, headers, landing gear, etc.
• Perform heavy trailer body repairs.
• Familiarity with dealership processes is a plus.
• Excellent Computer diagnostic knowledge.
• Strong vehicle maintenance skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs.
• Competence in reading and interpreting schematics for effective troubleshooting.
• Computer literacy is a must.
