Torrey Holistics in Pflugerville/Austin area is seeking a Mobile Trailer Systems Field Mechanic. You will operate a mobile service vehicle, perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair trailer electrical and air systems, and document work orders.

You may work solo or with a crew, read manuals, order parts with approval, and test equipment after repairs. A valid driver’s license, 1–2 years’ mechanical experience, basic math, and clear English are required; ASE certification is a plus.

• 1–2 years mechanical experience or equivalent.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
• Personal tool set and safety gear required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR; read/write in English.

Mobile Trailer Systems Field MechanicLocation: PFLUGERVILLE / AUSTIN TXApply on Indeed or www.dallastrailer.com/careers/A day in this roleYou roll out in a well-equipped mobile service vehicle, headed to customer sites around the Austin area. Your mission: keep semi-trailers and related equipment safe, compliant, and on the road. You’ll perform routine maintenance, run diagnostics, execute repairs, and communicate clearly with customers about findings and next steps. Some days you’re solo and self-directed; other days you coordinate with teammates to knock out bigger jobs. Throughout, you document work accurately and keep tools and the work area orderly.What you’ll tackleUse hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments (including calipers) with confidence and care.Inspect, service, diagnose, and repair trailer systems—especially electrical and air systems.Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance inspections and complete all company-required inspections.Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using sound diagnostic methods.Read, interpret, and follow repair manuals; perform repairs per manufacturer and company procedures.Operate and maintain power equipment safely and effectively.Order needed parts with prior approval; install new or reconditioned components as specified.Function-test equipment to verify proper operation after repairs.Accurately complete all paperwork and digital work orders.Pitch in with fellow maintenance techs when needed and support team objectives.Diagnose root causes, document an action plan, and follow checklists and protocols on every repair.Keep the workspace safe, organized, and clean; maintain tools and equipment regularly.Assist with shop housekeeping, including sweeping, cleaning, and trash removal.Follow all health and safety rules, PPE requirements, and common-sense safety practices.Work independently and as part of a team; collaborate professionally with coworkers and customers.Take on other duties as assigned to support operations.What you bringValid driver’s license and a clear MVR aligned with our Driver Fleet Policy; must meet DTR insurance eligibility (acceptable driving record; age requirements).Ability to read and write in English for documentation, communication, and compliance with local, state, and federal driving laws.1–2 years of mechanical experience (or equivalent).
