Job summary

Dtr-Services is looking for an on-site Fleet Trailer Repair Specialist to operate a mobile service unit in Pflugerville and Austin, TX. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair trailers, with emphasis on electrical and air systems, while maintaining safety and customer communication.

The role requires 1–2 years of mechanical experience, a valid driver's license, and English literacy for documentation and compliance. ASE credentials are preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate a mobile service unit to keep trailers roadworthy through inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
• Apply strong tool proficiency to complete repairs correctly.
• Maintain, diagnose, and repair trailer systems, with emphasis on electrical and air systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections on schedule.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues; create and execute repair plans.
• Use and follow repair manuals; complete listed procedures to standard.
• Request and order parts with prior approval; install new or reconditioned parts.
• Perform functional testing to confirm repairs restore proper operation.
• Document work thoroughly and finalize all required paperwork.
• Support fellow technicians and collaborate to meet goals.
• Follow checklists and safety protocols; keep tools and work area clean.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and customers as needed.
